Hello, I am Che 👋

I’m a product designer and design researcher based in Auckland with over a decade of experience making technology less of a headache and more of a delight. My background in computer engineering and marketing gives me the superpower of speaking both “design” and “tech,” which means I get along pretty well with engineers and product folks. 🫂

I thrive in both start-up and enterprise environments, and my real strength lies in my ability to zoom in and out—knowing when to obsess over the pixels and when to step back and ask, “Are we solving the right problem?” I’m good at gauging the right level of fidelity for each stage of the process, ensuring smooth communication, shared understanding, and that precious team alignment. 

I love rolling up my sleeves to do my own research and bringing insights that guide both user needs and business goals. Collaboration is my jam, whether it’s with designers, engineers, or anyone up for the game. 

When I’m not wrangling pixels or digging into data, I’m usually found exploring Auckland’s scenic views with my wife and two kids  or attempting (and sometimes regretting) DIY projects. Let’s connect and create something impactful together.
